And here we are in June already.

Every month seems to go faster and faster doesn’t it? 🤯

This month is filled with graduations, Father’s Day and of course National Adopt a Cat Month 😺! So, those weekends might be a bit busy already, but if not - we got some good stuff coming your way!

If you are a lover of all things music, then the Cape May Music Festival may be worth a day trip. The festival runs from May 25 - June 28, 2025 and features a variety of musical performances around the area. Get details and listing of events here.

Augusta - Crawfish Fest (runs 5/30-6/1, various hours and ticket prices)
Spend some time at the Sussex County Fairgrounds and enjoy a festival that brings the best of Louisiana to NJ.

Jersey City - Jazz Festival (5/30 & 5/31, hours and tickets vary)
An annual celebration of jazz that features over 300 performances across a variety of locations in the city.

📆 Saturday - May 31, 2025

Columbus - NJ Ren Fair from 10am-6pm (5/31 & 6/1, ticket prices vary)
From jousting to sword fighting and fire breathers - there is no lack of entertainment at the Renaissance Faire.

East Brunswick - Murder on the Dance Floor from 6:30pm-11pm ($125 pp)
Enjoy a murder mystery 70s style and support the East Brunswick Arts Coalition. Solve the crime, open bar, food stations and a disco ball set off the theme for this fun event.

Hackettstown - Food Truck and Music Fest from 12pm-7pm ($8, under 10 free)
Supporting the Arc of Warren County, this event features food trucks, music from the Brian Dean Moore Band, craft beers, interactive zone for kids and more. Takes place at Donaldson Farms.

Hillsborough Township - NJ Inkfest from 12pm-8pm (5/31 & 6/1, $20)
Tattoo artists, horror aficionados, and lovers of the odd and strange will enjoy this event.

Keyport - Food Truck & Music FEASTival from 11am-8pm ($5, under 5 free)
Enjoy a day bay the bay with food trucks, live music all day, beer garden, kids activities and more.

Laurel Springs - Waltfest & Laurel Springs Day from 11am-3pm
Celebrate Walt Whitman’s birthday with a historic tour by trolley of 3 historic sites. Music, makers, inflatables, encampment reenactors and more.

Mount Holly - Classic Car Show from 12pm-4pm
Classic cars, live music, local food all to benefit Main Street Mounty Holly

Neptune - Jersey Shore Cigar Box Guitar Festival from 12pm-7pm (tickets $10)
Music, cigar box guitar displays, games and vendors at the Asbury Park-Wall Elks.

Ocean Grove - Spring Market from 9am-3pm
Vintage, antique, handmade and new items with food vendors.

Port Murray - Well-Sweep Herb Farm Open House (5/31 9am-5pm & 6/1 10am-4pm)
Lectures, presentations, garden tours, craft market and over 1,800 types of plans for sale.

South Orange - Under Cover Music Fest from 2pm-10pm
Food, beer garden and free live music from cover bands covering your favorite tunes.

Whippany - Cobra Kai Convention (5/31-6/1, various hours and prices)
A tribute to Cobra Kai! Meet the stars, get photo ops, contests and more.

Asbury Park - Jersey Pride Parade & Fest from 12pm-7pm ($10 for festival)
Celebration of LGBTQ community with a parade and festival.

Bedminster - Shedfest Music Festival from 2pm-7pm ($35, under 12 free
Outdoor music festival to raise funds for Raritan Headwaters. Event features live music and food at the beautiful Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve

Denville - 42nd Annual Street Fair from 11am-6pm
Arts and crafts, vendors, food, entertainment and more to benefit Denville Rotary club charities.

Elizabeth - Portugal Day Parade at 2pm
Folklore, food, family, and fun, the Portugal Day Parade in Elizabeth, NJ brings it all.

Garwood - Garwood Rocks Street Fair from 11am-5pm
Live music, classic cars, beer + wine garden and family fun!

Somerville - International Street Fair from 12pm-6pm
Cultural performances, international food, live art and more to celebrate global experiences.

It is National Adopt a Cat Month so for this month we will share some cats that need a home! This week we have this bonded pair! These beautiful Siamese brothers are about 1 year old, fully vetted and ready to entertain you with their antics. They are available through Jersey Animal Welfare Society and are currently being fostered near Toms River.

NJ FUN FACT

New Jersey is home to over 400 diners making it the “Diner Capital of the World”!

My favorite was Peterpank in Sayreville which had the BEST French toast ever. I am still salty they closed.
