Paranormal Circus

If you want some family fun that is downright freaky, the Paranormal Cirque would be it. I went to the Freehold show a few years ago with the teenage kid (no littles for this show) and husband and it was AWESOME - and really weird. I totally recommend it if you are into this kind of thing.

There are dates in Freehold, Elizabeth, Lawrenceville and Livingston in April and May. Tickets range from $20-$65. Visit the website for more details.

Cherry Blossom Festival

Bring the tissues, take the allergy meds and head on over to Branch Brook Park in Newark on April 13th for their annual Bloom Fest celebration. The free event runs from 11am-5pm and features cultural shows, kids activities, music, crafts, food and more. Admission is free.

Can’t hit the festival? Peak season is upon us for seeing the Cherry Blossoms in bloom, so head over to the park as soon as you can to enjoy the amazing display.

Fun Fact: Washington D.C. gets all the attention when it comes to Cherry Blossoms, but Branch Brook Park takes the prize for the most trees - and varieties. Branch Brook has roughly 5,300 Cherry Blossom trees in 18 varieties while Washington D.C. has about 3,800 trees in 11 varieties. Go team Jersey! 🌸

In last weeks edition I ran a poll about your interest in a discount card and the results were pretty unanimous. Discount card it is!

I am going to start working on this for you and see what magic I can make happen. I promise not to leave any part of NJ out on this one! Future cards will definitely be more local in nature though - so stay tuned for details….

Clearly you guys love deals as much as I do! 😊
