HELLLLLLOOOOO everyone! This weeks list offers a reminder that Easter is right around the corner! Not sure how we are this far into April already - but here we are.

If you notice, the newsletter is a bit shorter than normal because I am actually on vacation right now! I did not want to miss a week though - so here you go, this weeks recommended Jersey things to do!

Friday - April 11, 2025

🕺 Asbury Park - Spring Disco & Market from 6pm-11pm (tickets $25)
21 and over event at the Grand Arcade at Convention Hall. Music, food, crafts, art and more. Featuring DJ Tyle Valentine

🌷 Cream Ridge - U-Pick Tulips Spring Spectacular (event opens 4/11, tickets average $15-$20 per person)

💥Freehold - Paranormal Cirque at various show times. (tickets $20-$65, show runs 4/11-4/13)
Acrobats defying gravity, illusionists warping reality, and eerie characters under a blood-red and obsidian big top. No one under 13 admitted; 13-17 must be with an adult.

🎵 Woodstown - Steel Magnolias starts at 8pm (tickets $20, also playing 4/12 and 4/13)
Director Mike Russell brings the classic story of “Steel Magnolias” to The Blue Moon Theatre stage. 

Saturday - April 12, 2025

💣 Bound Brook - Battle of Bound Brook Reenactment Weekend (free - also held on 4/13)

🐰 Elmer - Egg and Veggie Hunt at Coombs Barnyard (tickets $20 per child/$10 per adult, event is also held on 4/13 and 4/19)

🌼 Landisville - Spring Fling Weekend at Bellview Winery from 12pm-5pm
A weekend celebration offering spring win cocktails, food trucks, music, vendors and more.

🎵 Newark - NJ Symphony Star Wars the Force Awakens in Concert starts at 8pm (tickets start at $38)

😋 Ocean City - Doo Dah Parade featuring over 300 Bassett Hounds from 12pm-2pm.
Ocean City’s Spring highlight features marching bands, floats and lots of Bassett Hounds.

🌼 Smithville - Renaissance Faire from 11am-5pm (free, takes place 4/12 and 4/13)
Fun for the whole family including comedy, tragedy, sword fighting, dance, song, knights, jesters and so much more.  Also stroll amongst the wares of the local vendors and traveling merchants sporting historical gifts and finely crafted items. 

🍸 Toms River - Garden State Distillery Sip & Shop from 12pm-4pm
Experience local artists while enjoying a craft cocktail.

🎵 Trenton - Punk Rock Flea Market from 12pm-5pm (tickets are $25, show runs on 4/12 and 4/13)
A massive gathering of artists and DIY sellers from over 30 states, offering vinyl records, jewelry, art, taxidermy, plus on-site tattooing and celebrity guests.

🐰Tuckahoe - Seashore Lines Easter Bunny Express (tickets start at $23.95)
Enjoy a ride with the Easter Bunny and live musicians on a 60-minute train ride.

🐰 Whippany - Easter Bunny EGGspress Trips & Egg Hunt (tickets $14-26, train runs 4/12, 4/13, and 4/19)
Ride vintage passenger cars with the Easter Bunny greeting passengers, followed by a rain-or-shine egg hunt where kids collect toy-filled eggs and a commemorative item.

Sunday - April 13, 2025

🎨 Clinton - Art in Bloom Festival from 11am-4pm (moved from 4/6 due to weather)
Over 100 local artists, live music, kids zone and more.

🌸 Newark - Bloomfest at Branch Brook Park from 11am-5pm (free)
Celebrate the blooming of the Cherry Blossoms and experience a Japanese cultural immersion.

🌮 Paramus - Latin Food Fest from 12pm-7pm (tickets $7 at door, kids under 10 free)
Try mouthwatering dishes from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Chile and more. Demonstrations, music, contests and more.

🐰Point Pleasant - Annual Easter Egg Hunt starts at 1pm

🐰Richland - Seashore Lines Easter Bunny Express (tickets start at $23.95)
Enjoy a ride with the Easter Bunny and live musicians on a 60-minute train ride.

🐰Seaside Heights - Annual Easter Egg Hunt starts at 1pm

🌼 Summit - Daffodil Day Festival from 11am-3pm at Reeves-Reed Arboretum (tickets $15, free for members and children under 3)
