The American Legion in Union Beach, NJ is hosting Santa and Mrs. Claus for its members and guests on December 21, 2025 from 9am to noon. Breakfast is also available for $10. Get more details.

Many American Legions are hosting similar events. This is a great way to support our veterans and meet some great people. Not a member?

Stories of neighbors doing great things.

It was 2019 when Stephanie Nicole Parze went missing in Central, NJ. The sad ending would be the result of an ex-boyfriend who did not want the relationship to end. Since her death, the family has honored her memory through a foundation that brings awareness to domestic violence, sexual abuse, and missing persons.

From December 19-21, 2025 between 5:30pm and 9:30pm they are hosting a Santa Drive Stop and Drop. If you stop by the house with a donation - you receive a goodie bag. Santa, The Grinch and Steph’s Anel Elves - and thousands of lights will all be there waiting for you.

The money raised helps the organization with the purchase of protective devices for individuals who are in scary situations.
