Not sure how we got to Memorial Day Weekend already, but here we are.

Fair warning: the forecast is not cooperating, with showers possible both days and temps in the high 50s/low 60s. Keep an eye on event Facebook pages and websites before you head out, since cancellations are possible.

If you're looking for a way to actually mark the day, I can't recommend the BG William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery enough. It's at 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown, and every year right before Memorial Day, area scouts place roughly 60,000 flags across the grounds.

I visited in 2019 and the image here is from that trip — watching all those flags roll across the hill is one of those things that just stops you. Whatever's going on in your life, it has a way of putting things in perspective.

Remember, this is just a summary of events! View the full event calendar here! Be sure to add your events for free and partner with me for more visibility.

Be sure to check with your local township websites for Memorial Day parades! There are a lot taking place on Monday!

FEATURED PLACE
TiLT 3D Art Experience

Unfortunately it does look like a not so great weekend ahead, which makes it a perfect time to explore TiLT 3D Art Museum at the American Dream in East Rutherford.

These anamorphic artworks allow you to become at one with the art and result in cool picture opportunities! Imagine being inside an arcade game, climbing a house of cards - or walking on a warped wall like shown below.

Admission is just $8 per person - and is great for kids of all ages. Visit the website for more details.

FEATURED HOME
The Ceilings Alone Are Worth Considering this Home

Built in 1930 and sitting on nearly half an acre at a corner lot, this place is the kind of home that stops you mid-scroll. Nearly 5,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, a wraparound porch, a three-car garage, and a library. The ceilings are high with original details still intact, and there's even a service kitchen for when you're hosting more than you planned for.

At $111 a square foot, it's a lot of house for the money. Historic charm, functional layout, and enough room that you'd genuinely have to go looking for people. Located at 800 W State St, Trenton and listed for $550,000,
